Description
Electric Fusion (Arc) Welded Steel Pipe: We use the electric arc as the heat source to fuse the joint of two metals. The electric arc can fully melt the metal and filler materials without pressurization. The filler metal is all from the electrode. ASTM A139 standard covers electric fusion arc welded straight seam or helical seam steel pipe with five grades,Grade A, Grade B, Grade C, Grade D and Grade E. these pipe is intended for conveying liquid, gas, or vapor. OD≥114.3mm with nominal wall thickness of ≤25.4mm.

Manufacture process
The longitudinal edges of the steel shall be shaped to give the most satisfactory results by the particular welding process employed. The weld shall be made bu automatic means and shall be of reasonably uniform width and height for the entire length of the pipe.
All weld seams made in manufacturing pipe shall be made using complete joint penetration groove welds.
Tube protection
Pipe shall be furnished with plain right-angle cut or beveled end. All burrs at ends of pipe shall be removed. The small size tubes are provided with pipe caps as the purchaser specified, and large size tubes are furnished with pipe end protectors or with thick cotton rope on the ends. If agree upon between the purchaser and the manufacturer, the pipe shall be given a protective coating of the kind and in the manner specified by the purchaser.
