JIS G3455 Carbon Steel Pipes For High Pressure Service
Pipes under JIS G3455 standard shall be manufactured from killed steel by the seamless and be given the heat treatment finally subject to agreement between the purchaser and the manufacturer. Pipes are classified into three grades and designation of symbol. STS370, STS410,STS480. Pipes of STS370 and STS410 grade are manufactured by hot finishing for low temperature annealing or normalizing as necessary, and must be annealed and normalized by cold finishing.

Mechanical properties of JIS G3455 carbon steel pipes for high pressure service
For pipes of outside diameter under 40mm, the elongation given in this table shall not apply, however, the test result shall be recorded. The elongation value may be specified upon agreement between the purchaser and the manufacturer.

Note: The wall thickness deviation is expressed by the ratio in percentage of the difference between the maximum and minimum wall thickness measured on the same cross-section of the pipe to the wall thickness value specified in the order. The wall thickness deviation tolerance does not apply to pipes under 5.6mm in wall thickness.
