Surface treatment of carbon free steel tube

There are different surface treatment for carbon free steel tubes.

First, No painting on the surface.

Second, varnish painting or black varnish painting.

Third, hot dipped galvanized.

Fourth, anti-corrosion painting, such as 3LPE, 3LPP, FBE, liquid epoxy, epoxy zinc yellow primer, zinc phosphate primer or other types of painting can be customized by clients.

Marking on the carbon free steel tube 

The surface of steel tubes is marked according to standard or clients' request.

Mark spraying starts at 30 cm from the end of the steel tubes.

Moreover, color coding can be painted on the surface of steel tubes in order to distinguish different steel grades.

Besides, shipping mark will be made by clients' request.

Inspection and Test of carbon free steel tube

Chemical Composition Inspection

Mechanical Properties Test, includes Tensile Strength, Yield Strength, Elongation, Flaring, Flattening, Bending, Hardness, Impact Test)

Dimension Test, includes outer diameter, wall thickness, length.

Surface test, includes inner surface, outer surface, packaging

Non destructive Test, such as eddy test, ultrasonic test, radiographic test, magnetic particle test

Hydrostatic Test as per standard request.

Shipment of carbon free steel tube

Different size, different packaging ways.

First, steel tubes' size from 1/8" to 5”

Steel tubes are bundled by steel strip in hexagonal bundles or round bundles. 

Weight of each bundle up to 2000 kg upon request of clients.

Second, steel tubes' size from 6" to 20”

Both ends of each steel tube are wrapped around by cotton ropes for protection
