Introduction of GB/T 12771 stainless steel pipes

GB/T 12771 standard is equivalent to ASTM A312 standard. GB/T 12771 welded stainless steel pipe is a type of Chromium-Nickel stainless steel pipe, in addition to good corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, it also has excellent welded performance and processibility, making it can maintain stable performance in various complex environments. In order to ensure the performance of stainless steel pipes, GB/T 12771 stainless steel pipes are mainly made of high quality stainless steel materials, and common steel grades include 022Cr19Ni10 (TP304L) , 07Cr19Ni10 (TP304H), and 022Cr17Ni12Mo2 (TP316L), etc. These materials have excellent corrosion resistance, and are able to use for a long time in corrosive environments, such as acids, alkalies, salts, etc.

 

Manufacturing method of GB/T 12771 stainless steel pipes

The steel pipes should be manufactured using one of the following electric fusion welded processes:

(a) Single-sided welded with adding filler metal

(b) Double-sided welded with adding filler metal

(c) Single-sided welded without adding filler metal

(d) Double-sided welded without no adding filler metal

(e) Double-sided welded with filler metal added to the outer weld and no filler metal added to the inner weld
