Introduction

STKM11A is one of the steel grade in JIS G3445 standard. JIS G3445 grade STKM11A steel tube is a low carbon steel tube with a maximum carbon content of 0.12% and a maximum manganese content of 0.60%. Compared with high carbon steel tubes, low carbon steel tubes are not as hard, but it has higher mechanical performance. JIS G3445 STKM11A carbon steel seamless tubes are commonly used for manufacturing of general structure, mechanical structural parts, and fluid transportation pipeline, etc. According to the applications, heat treatment such as normalizing or quenching may be necessary.
