Introduction

P91 alloy steel pipes mainly contain chromium, molybdenum, vanadium, and other elements, as well as a small amount of niobium and nitrogen. These elements can significantly improve the high-temperature resistance and corrosion resistance of steel pipes. Chromium element (8%-9.5%) can form a dense oxide film on the surface of steel pipes at high temperature, which can effectively resist steam corrosion and oxidation. Molybdenum element (0.85%-1.05%) endows steel pipes with high strength and good creep resistance, P91 alloy steel pipes still have high strength and even at high temperature of 600℃. The combination of vanadium element (0.18%-0.25%) and niobium element (0.06%-0.10%) can refine the grain, improving the toughness and high-temperature resistance of steel pipes.
