Production technique of 30inch seamless steel pipe

Hot expansion technique will be applied for producing large diameter seamless steel pipes. 

Hot expansion pipe is also called hot expanding seamless steel pipe. As it's name, the steel pipe is made from hot expanding processes, mainly there are two types: 

1. Original seamless steel pipe

2. hot expanded seamless steel pipe (Based on original seamless steel pipe hot expanding)

Usually, the outer diameter of original seamless steel pipes will be 426mm, 457.2mm, 508mm. If wall thickness is 9.53mm, the thickness of original seamless steel pipes will be 10mm or 10.5mm. After hot expanding, the thickness will be ok.

After production finished, the size of 30inch seamless steel pipe will be inspected by equipments.

Painting: Bare, varnish painting, hot dipped galvanized or as per clients' request.

Mark: Brand, type, standard, steel grade, size, length, weight, heat number or as per clients' request.

Packing of 30inch seamless steel pipe

Because the diameter is large, pipes' ends are protected by metal protectors.

Each pipe ends are wrapped around by cotton ropes for protection in loading, unloading and storage process.
