Introduction

15CrMoG is a steel grade belonging to the GB/T 5310 standard. 15CrMoG high pressure alloy pipes have the characteristic of excellent heat resistance and oxidation resistance, etc. It has high heat resistance when used at a temperature of 500℃-550℃. But when the working temperature is more than 550℃, its heat resistance is significantly reduced. So it is suitable for manufacturing of high-temperature boiler tubes.

The equivalent grades of 15CrMoG include ASTM A213 T12, ASTM A335 P12, JIS STBA22, JIS STPA22, and DIN13CrMo44, etc.

Heat treatment

15CrMoG high pressure alloy pipes should be heat treated before delivery, for the steel pipe that the wall thickness is below 30mm: Normalize (900℃-960℃) and Tempering (680℃-730℃) ; for the steel pipe that the wall thickness is over 30mm: Quenching (>900℃) and Tempering (680℃-750℃).
