ASTM A179 Seamless Cold Drawn Low Carbon Steel Heat-exchanger and Condenser Tubes

ASTM A179 standard specified the delivery conditions of seamless low carbon steel tubes with minimum wall thickness. These steel tube is suitable for tubular heat exchangers, condensers, and similar heat transfer apparatus. The range of outside diameter is from 1/8 to 3 in. (3.2-76.2mm). Tubes shall be cold drawn and heat treated after the final cold drawn pass at a temperature of 650℃ or higher.
