Steel pipe rolling

The continuous rolling process is used in the continuous rolling and constant reducing process of the steel pipe. Steel tube rolling is a process in which a steel pipe and a mandrel move together in a plurality of stands. The deformation and movement of the steel pipe are simultaneously effected by the roll and the mandrel. The mandrel can be free-floating, that is, thanks to metal-driven forward movement; it can also be a limited movement, that is to give the mandrel a movement speed, limiting its free movement. During the movement, the mandrel, the roll and the steel pipe are linked into a whole, the change of any one link will cause the change of the whole system state. The rolling theory is the theory of studying the interrelationship between them.
