FBE material: The epoxy powder shall consist of a one-component, fusion-bonded material comprised of epoxy resin, curing agents, catalysts, fillers, colorants, flow-control agents, and ultraviolet-light-resistance agents that, when applied to the preheated substrate, will uniformly coalesce and cure to produce a homogeneous film that complies with the requirements.

Application of FBE coating steel pipe

FBE coating that has been abrasive blast cleaned and inspected shall be heated to a temperature in accordance with coating powder our data sheet. Fluid bed magnets shall be inspected and cleaned prior to startup. Coating shall be applied to the specified thickness in one pass through the coating booth.

A: Yes. There are different coating types.

A: Usually, cotton ropes are wrapped around both ends of steel pipes for protection. And pipe ends are covered by plastic caps or metal protectors.

Besides, non-woven bags can be used for packing surface of each pipes. And if clients want to pack steel pipes by wooden cases, it can be arranged by us.

Q: What is maximum length of coated steel pipe?

A: The maximum length is 14meters. Coated steel pipes of 12meters can be loaded into 40ft containers.

Longer than 12meters steel pipes is suit for transporting by bulk vessel.
