Applications
Polyethylene coating is designed for use in the following:
General underground service
Highly corrosive soil service
Underwater service
Polyethylene coating pipe is also highly recommended for use where perfect pipeline reliability is required, such as in gas and fuel pipeline, for operating temperature up to 80℃ for PE.
In addition to the product, we can offer field installation know-how for polyethylene coating pipe.
Standard specification
Polyethylene (PE) coating coating layer structure
As illustrated, a primer and a polyethylene film are applied to the pipe surface.
Color code
The standard color of the PE layer is black.
Holiday inspection
Holiday inspection is conducted on each pipe at 20kv.
Pipe ends
Pipe is supplied with plain or bevelled ends. Uncoated length is about 100mm from ends, and uncoated area is protected with anti-rust paint.
Marking
The following markings are applied on each length of coated pipe.
1. 168.3mm(6inch) in OD, marking is applied on the outside.
2. Over 168.3mm(6inch) to 609.6mm(24inch) in OD, marking is applied on the inside of one end.
Packing
Bare in loose.
