When the outside diameter of LSAW steel pipe is greater than 914.4mm, two straight welds are allowed on the pipe surface unless otherwise specified.

Basic material inspection, Milled edge, Pre-bending, Forming, Tack welding, Inside weld, Outside weld, Ultrasonic inspection and X-ray inspection, Expanding, Hydrostatic test, Chamfering, Ultrasonic inspection and X-ray inspection again.

Storage of steel pipes

1. Outdoor storage. We store steel pipes in a clean and well drained place away from factories and mines which bring harmful gases or dust. We also remove weeds and debris to keep goods well.

2. Indoor storage. We store steel pipes and corrosive materials separately in the warehouse. It is prohibited to deposit corrosive products near stack position.

3. Stable stacking. The bottom of the stack will be elevated, steady, flat and level to protect steel products from damp or deformation.
