The generating background of EN10208-1
EN10208 standard specified the technical delivery conditions of pipeline steel tube is derived from Europe. In the preparation of this European standard the committee was unanimous in seeking to avoid specifying the quality of line pipe to be used for a particular application. There are several broad quality levels commonly used. Then, they provide a basic quality level broadly similar to that specified in main part of ANSI/API 5L [2]. Scope of EN10208-1
EN10208-1 applies to unalloyed seamless and welded steel pipelines for transmitting combustible fluids and water piping in the oil and gas industries. The rang of outside diameter is from 33.7mm to 1626mm.
