DIN 1629 Seamless Circular Tubes Of Non-alloy Steels
DIN 1629 standard applies to circular tubes and pipes made of unalloyed steels with special quality requirements. This specification are designed to meet high performance requirements. There are three steel grades in DIN1629 standard, St37.0,St44.0 and St52.0, details as follows.
Description
DIN 1629 Seamless Circular Tubes Of Non-alloy Steels
DIN 1629 standard applies to circular tubes and pipes made of unalloyed steels. These tubes are predominantly used in the construction of chemical plant, vessels, pipework and for general mechanical engineering purposes. They are designed to meet high performance requirements. Normally there are no limiting values or the maximum permissible working pressure of these tubes. The permitted working temperature shall not exceed 300℃. But this specification is not applicable in non-alloy seamless tubes with high performance, seamless circular tubes for structure, seamless tubes made of heat resistance steel, precision seamless tubes, the medium-weight and heavy-weight of seamless tubes suitable for screwing.

The content shall not exceed 0.55% Si and 1.60% Mn in the cast analysis or 0.60% Si and 1.70% Mn in the product analysis. | ||||||||
Packing of non-alloy seamless tubes:
1/8"-8": in bundles with steel strip, pipe ends plastic caps.
8"-36": cotton ropes binding on ends of pipes, pipe ends plastic caps or protectors woven bags, wooden cases or others can be arranged as per customers' request.
End type of seamless steel pipe:
Seamless steel pipe Ends are plain or bevelled. End angle shall be 30°- 0°/+5°, root face shall be 1.6mm +/- 0.8mm and fitted with bevel protectors.
Protection surface of seamless steel pipe:
Usually, seamless steel pipes are varnished on the outside. Besides, anti-corrosion painting, hot dipped galvanized,no painting requested by some clients.
Transportation:
It is usually carried by container ships, bulk carriers, trains, etc.
