Introduction

Duplex stainless steel flange is a type of flange made of duplex stainless steel. The most common grades of duplex stainless steel flanges are Duplex 2205 and Super Duplex 2507. Compared with traditional austenitic 304 and 316 stainless steel, duplex stainless steel has higher stress corrosion resistance cracking resistance, and the yield strength of duplex stainless steel is twice that of traditional austenitic stainless steel. But the toughness and impact strength is lower. Duplex 2205 and Super Duplex 2507 stainless steel flanges also have excellent corrosion resistance, especially Super Duplex 2507 stainless steel, it can effectively resist crevice corrosion, pitting and general corrosion. The working temperature of duplex stainless steel flanges should be limited to below 300℃, because this steel material will become brittle if exposed to high temperature for a long time.

Chemical composition %

Duplex 2205 refers to S31803 and S32205, this stainless steel material has high yield strength and excellent corrosion resistance.

Packing
