Heat treatment:

All pipes should be heat treated after welding and cooled at a temperature of 1650 ° F [900 ° C] or higher in the air or in the cooling chamber of a controlled layer furnace.

Cold drawn tubes should be heat treated to complete the final cold drawing process (650 ° C) or higher at a temperature of 1200 ° F.
