JIS G3467 Seamless Steel Tubes

JIS G3467 steel tubes we provided are manufactured according to the combination of the manufacturing method and the finishing method as specified. The carbon steel tubes and alloy steel tubes shall be heat treated. The austenite stainless steel tubes and nickel-chromium-iron alloy tubes shall be heat treated and then be subjected to the pickling or similar cleaning. Any other heat treatment shall be accordance with the agreement between the purchaser and the manufacturer.

 

JIS G3467 steel tubes are classified into 19 classes and the symbols as follows,

Carbon steel tube: STF410

Molybdenum steel tube: STFA12

Chromium-molybdenum steel tube: STFA22, STFA23, STFA24, STFA25, STFA26

Austenite stainless steel tube：SUS304TF, SUS304HTF, SUS309TF, SUS310TF, SUS316TF, SUS316HTF, SUS321TF, SUS321HTF, SUS347TF, SUS347HTF

Nickel-chromium-iron alloy tube: NCF800TF, NCF800HTF

Note: Wall thickness deviation is the percentage of the difference between the minimum and maximum tube thicknesses measured in the same plane to the ordered thickness. it shall not be applied to tubes with wall thicknesses under 5.6mm.

 

Tolerance on length

Lengths over 7 m	For every increment of length of 3 m and its fraction, 3mm shall be added to the above plus side tolerance. However, the tolerance shall not be greater than 15mm.
Note: when the length is required to be specially precise, the tolerance shall be agreed upon between the purchaser and the manufacturer.

 

Packing and shipping

Tubes are supplied in hexagonal bundles or round bundles tied with steel strip. Each bundle has two pieces of lifting belts for unloading.

If diameter of tubes is large, tube’ ends wrapped around cotton ropes for protection without bundle.

Visual inspection

Steel tubes we supplied are as circular as possible and straight to the eye. The wall thickness of tubes are uniform. The tube ends shall be cut perpendicular to the tube axis and shall be free from burr.
