Introduction

GB/T 18984 standard applies to seamless steel tube for -45℃ to -196℃ low temperature pressure vessel piping and low temperature heat exchanger piping. GB/T 18984 standard is equivalent to JIS G3460, JIS G3464 and ASTM A333 standard. GB/T 18984 seamless steel tube has high strength and excellent low-temperature toughness, which can maintain stable under harsh low temperature environments.

GB/T 18984 seamless steel tubes will be treated by heat treatment before delivery. Heat treatment process shall be selected according to different steel grades of GB/T 18984 seamless steel tubes.
