ASTM A213 Low Alloy Steel Seamless Boiler

Low alloy steel seamless boilers in conformance with ASTM A213 Specification are manufactured by hot formed or cold finished and reheated for heat treatment. Heat treatment shall be fulfilled separately except for hot forming. The size of these boiler tube is according to ASME B36.10M. As long as the tubes comply with all the requirements of this standard, we will furnish other diameters, for example, you required.

Surface: The tubes are free from external and internal surface defects that can be detected by visual examination.

Internal soundness: Before we loaded the low alloy steel seamless tubes, each of them has passed a hydrostatic test or elctromagnetic test for leak-tightness and a non-destructive testing for the detection of longitudinal imperfections. The choice of the test method is at the discretion of the manufacturer, or stipulated in the contract.

Straightness: The deviation from straightness of any tube length L shall not exceed 0.0015L. deviations from straightness over any one metre length shall not exceed 3mm.

Ends: We will deliver the steel tubes with square cut ends unless otherwise specified. The ends are neat surface and no excessive burrs.
