For eccentric reducer, it is a type of pipe fitting that is used to joint two pipes of different diameters. But unlike the concentric reducer, the eccentric reducer has an offset centerline. This means that the larger end of the reducers is not aligned with the smaller end.
Different application environments
The main function of concentric reducers is to reduce the resistance during fluid flow. Concentric reducers have smaller interference for the state of fluid. Therefore, it is commonly used in gas and vertically flowing liquid pipelines to ensure smooth fluid flow.
The function of eccentric reducers is to facilitate exhaust or liquid discharge, it is usually used in liquid pipeline that is horizontally installed . In additions, eccentric reducers is also used for water supply, firefight pipeline system, etc.
