EN 10210 Hot finished structural hollow sections 

EN10210 standard applies to hot finished hollow sections which are heat treated or not, and cold formed structural hollow section steels after heat treatment. This specification covers hollow round sections, hollow square and rectangular sections or other special hollow sections. These structural steels also can be hot dipped galvanizing. EN 10210 structural hollow sections are produced by hot finished or normalized condition, so that their mechanical properties can be reached our expectation.

Normalized non-alloy hollow section: S275NH, S275NLH, S355NH, S355NLH

Alloy-steel hollow section: S420NH, S420NLH, S460NH, S460NLH

Appearance of EN 10210 hot finished structural hollow sections

The internal and external surfaces of structural hollow sections shall be finished smoothly in accordance with their manufacture processing and free from defects by manufacturer, but the wall thickness of the product after removed shall be within the specified tolerance on wall thickness. And the both ends shall be cut perpendicular to hollow sections axis and free from burr. The welding line does not allow to be cleaned about non-alloy and fine grain structural hollow sections made by welding except for submerged arc welding. Non-alloy structural hollow sections produced by seamless and welding can be repaired, but fine grain structural hollow sections cannot be repaired unless otherwise specified.
