Introduction

EN10216-1 standard specifies two quality levels: TR1 and TR2. Compared with level TR1, more strict requirements are specified in grade TR2. "TR1" represents the steel without specified aluminum content, impact performance, and special inspection and testing requirements. Mainly used for the steel pipes for general purpose in room temperature. "TR2" represents the steel with specified aluminum content, impact performance, and special inspection and testing requirements. Mainly used in high temperature and high pressure environments.
