(1)Nondestructive Electrical Testing of Welds:

The test time must last longer than 5s for seamless and electric resistance welding tubes of sizes.

(2) Allowable deviation:
①Diameter: The diameter of a nominal pipe less than or equal to NPS 1½(DN40) should not be greater than 1/64in. (0.4mm) of the standard value, and the diameter of a nominal pipe greater than or equal to NPS 2(DN50) should not exceed ±1% of the standard value.
②Wall Thickness(WT):The minimum WT should not be more than 12.5% of the nominal WT.
(3) Nondestructive Electrical Test:“NDE”shall be marked on each pipe when a non-destructive electrical test has been did.It shall state the use of non-destructive electrical testing and the specific type and the product standard and steel grade number shall be written behind “NDE” when a certificate is required .
(4)Grade B resistance welded nominal pipe shall be heat-treated at a minimum temperature of 1000℉(450℃) after welding to be residual-free tempered marten site or use other methods.
(5)The expansion shall not exceed 1.5% of the nominal pipe diameter when the nominal pipe is produced by cold expansion.
