Products Description
Unlike ordinary carbon steel elbows, ASTM A860 elbows are manufactured from high-strength API 5L seamless steel pipes, with material grades including WPHY42, WPHY46, WPHY52, WPHY60, WPHY65, and WPHY70. Therefore they have mechanical properties that match API 5L seamless steel pipes. Due to their exceptional performance, ASTM A860 elbows are widely used in various high-pressure, high-temperature industrial fields, such as oil and gas transmission systems, chemical and petrochemical industry, and power generation industry, etc.

Manufacturing process
Our elbows are manufactured using high strength API 5L seamless steel pipes as raw materials. For seamless elbows, the steel pipes will be heated to the optimal forging temperature, and then pushed to form the elbow shape, ensuring no weld seams and uniform wall thickness. After forming, all elbows undergo strict heat treatment (annealing to eliminat internal stress, quenching and tempering to enhance mechanical properties) to ensure stable performance.
Inspection
Our elbows are manufactured strictly in accordance with ASTM A860 standard. All elbows will be carefully tested before shipping, the test method includes Ultrasonic test and Hardness test, etc.

Packing
In order to prevent pipe fittings from damage, they will be weapped with woven bags or plastic films, and then putted into plywood cases for protection. If you have other requirements for packing, we can also package according to your requirement.
