Cold galvanizing
Cold galvanizing technology is a process of coating a layer of zinc on the outer wall of steel pipes through electroplating.The main purpose of cold galvanizing is to protect metals from corrosion.By using zinc filler coating,a layer of zinc is applied to the metal surface to form a zinc filler coating,achieving the purpose of corrosion prevention.This coating contains up to 95% zinc and is suitable for repair work.As long as the surface damage is repaired,it can be reapplied.The cold galvanizing process is not only used for steel pipes,but also for anti-corrosion of various steel products and structures.
In summary,the manufacturing technology of galvanized steel pipes mainly relies on two methods:hot-dip galvanizing and cold galvanizing.The former is widely used due to its superior corrosion resistance and long service life,while the latter is accepted in certain application scenarios due to its lower cost.
